In today's Daily Fix, the GTA trilogy remastered collection is one step closer to release, as evidenced by the Rockstar Launcher being updated with a bunch of references to the trilogy. Incidentally, Brewster's canonical birthday is on October 15.
That update is expected to introduce the long-awaited, fan-favourite Brewster and a coffee shop addition to the game's museum. The broadcast will be roughly 20 minutes long, and focuses on an upcoming November update for the game.

According to a report by VGC, the hacker posted a 125GB torrent link to 4chan on Wednesday, reportedly leaking "the entirety" of Twitch's source code along with creator payout reports from 2019, mobile, desktop and console Twitch clients, proprietary services, and even "an unreleased Steam competitor, codenamed Vapor, from Amazon Game Studios." Nintendo has announced that its next Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct broadcast will air on Friday, October 15 at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK (that's October 16 at 1am AEDT). "We will update the community as soon as additional information is available," reads a short Twitter statement. Twitch has confirmed that its data has been breached, but has not yet commented on the severity of the issue.
Twitch has reportedly been hit by a huge leak after an anonymous hacker posted a torrent file containing a vast amount of data for the public to access. The logos (below) seem to confirm that each game will be subtitled "The Definitive Edition". As found by GTA Forums users alloc8or and Razed- (reported by the GTANet Twitter account), it's yet more fuel to the raging fire that is speculation around the re-releases. The latest leaks for the all-but-confirmed remasters of Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas include their logos and achievement icons. While not confirmed at time of writing, the games will potentially be released individually as well as part of a collection – San Andreas - The Definitive Edition will launch into Xbox Game Pass on November 11, while GTA 3 - The Definitive Edition will be added to PlayStation Now on December 7.On today's IGN The Fix: Games, Here we go again indeed. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the games will display at 4K, with up to 60 FPS performance.
The PC version will also support Nvidia DLSS. The Switch version of the game will include gyro aiming, as well as touchscreen support. Rockstar has explained that all three games also feature quality-of-life improvements such as updated controls inspired by GTA 5, "improvements to targeting and lock-on aiming, updated Weapon and Radio Station Wheels, updated Mini-Maps with enhanced navigation allowing players to set waypoints to destinations, updated Achievements, Trophies, and more." You'll also be able to immediately restart a failed mission, cutting out major points of frustration from the originals. Rockstar says the games come with a "completely rebuilt lighting system improved shadows, weather, and reflections upgraded character and vehicle models along with new higher resolution textures across buildings, weapons, roads, interiors, and more." Draw distances have been improved, new foliage has been added, and surfaces have been smoothed. The trilogy is initially coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher.
The three remasters included – GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas – have been created for modern platforms in Unreal Engine by Grove Street Games, which previously worked on the mobile ports for GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas, as well as the PS3 and 360 versions of the latter. The news comes alongside a first look at the updated versions of the three classic games. Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be released digitally on November 11, with physical releases to follow on December 7.
